        • Moses is the leader of the Isrealities.

          1. Father of King David, a king

            Anotações:

            • Solomon built the great temple in Jerusalem that got ruined. The temple was rebuilt but was ruined again. Now only the Western wall remain and a lot of tourists go there.
          2. Son of king Solomon, a king

            Anotações:

            •  David beat the Israelites fiercest warrior, Goliath by just a single stone. David's courage and faith rewarded him to be the king. King David found the kingdom called Israel. David defeated a lot of the Philistines as well as other enemies.

                • The torah contains most of the information about the Jews culture we now know. The Torah contains written records and teachings of the Jews, as well as hundreds of commandments that direct moral and religious conduct. It also contains early Jewish history.

                  Anotações:

                  • The Torah says that the Hebrews wandered through the wilderness. During this time God gave Moses ten laws. The ten commandments were tablets were carved on stone. The first one is," You shall have no other god before me.

                      • A god that introduced the belief in one god. Jesus taught us a lot of things. Jesus was the god of Christianity. Jesus was killed on the cross.

                      1. The birthplace of Jesus

                        • Judea is in modern day Isreal. It is the birthplace of Jesus.

                        1. An account of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ

                          Anotações:

                          •  Gospels, which are accounts of Jesus's life that were written in Greek some years after his death. The followers' names have come down to us as Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.  
                        2. Paul
                          1. A christian missionary

                            Anotações:

                            • Paul didn't believe in Christianity at first. But one day, when he was riding a horse he fell. There was a blinding light from heaven. He heard the voice of god. He adopted the religion Christianity and became a missionary of Christianity. Paul is now known as one of the founders of Christianity. Paul 
                          2. Jesus' teachings
                            1. For example: You shall love your neighbor as yourself

                              Anotações:

                              • Jesus had really different point of views with the Romans. He disagreed with most of the Roman teachings so he had his own. He disagreed with money exchanging. The two most important teachings are," You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and all your soul." and "You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

                              1. A simple story that explains a moral or religious lesson

                                • There are many famous parables. For example: The boy who cried wolf, the mouse and the lion, The Unforgiving, The Lost Coin, and the Parable of the Prodigal Son
                              2. Disciples
                                1. A person who helps spread a religious teachings of another

                                  Anotações:

                                  • A desciple is a person who follows Jesus. Jesus had twelve desciples who followed him his whole life.
                                2. The death of Jesus
                                  1. Jesus dies on the cross

                                    Anotações:

                                    • The Romans declaired that Jesus must be killed. Jesus went to a Jewish festival of Passover to celebrate. After a final meal with his disciples, Jesus went to pray in a garden. Judas then reported where Jesus could be found. The final meal is now known as the last supper. Jesus was nailed on a cross until he died. Jesus was burried in a stone carved tomb by faithful followers. Three days later, he rose from the dead.
