President Arthur feels that they Native Americans should instead become citizens so
that they could have the same privileges as everyone else.
He suggests in his policy that an Act should be made stating that the Indians will
have a portion of their land and that it will be protected so that no one could take it.
Both of these people have a different view of this because Chief Joseph feels that his people should
have everything that they previously had while President Arthur feels that they should only have a
portion.
But they still both agree that they should have land it's just a matter of how
much land they should have.
