Multiplying and Dividing Positive and Negative Numbers
  1. When multiplying or dividing two integers you need to check the signs. Firstly multiply and divide the numbers as normal. Use these rules to find the sign for the answer:
    1. Two like signs (both + or -) give a positive result. Two unlike signs (one + and the other -) give a negative result.
    2. Examples:
      1. -5 x 3 = -15
        1. -10 x -2 =20
          1. -12 divided by -2=6
            1. 15 divided by -3 = -5
