- A rainforest is a dense forest with biodiversity, found normally in tropical areas with heavy rainfall.
- Canopy
- The canopy is the aboveground
portion of a plant or crop. For
forests, canopy also refers to the
upper layer or habitat zones.

The tallest trees are the
emergents, towering
above the forest floor with
