The portrait.A portrait is a description of a person, in images, or in words. This description can include characteristics related to the person's appearance and /or personality. Here you have a portrait of my favourite singer.

MANUEL CARRASCOManuel Carrasco is a Spanish musician. He is a singer and a songwriter. He plays the guitar, too. He is from Isla Cristina (Huelva), and he is 34. He has brown curly hair and green eyes. He has a beard, too. In this picture, he is wearing a black T-shirt .He is playing the guitar and the presenter is interviewing him about his latest album.

Manuel Carrasco's songs talk about emotions. They are stories about people in love, or people suffering for love. His songs are ballads with lots of emotions. He is a romantic, sensitive man. He is sweet, but adventurous, too.He likes composing songs, and then, singing them, but he also writes songs for other artists. For example, Pastora Soler or India Martínez sing songs he wrote for them. My favourite song is "Que nadie." It is about our right to be free and find happiness in life.He doesn't like sport or watching TV, but he likes reading. He likes walking along his town's beaches and going to the harbour to see the ships. He loves hanging out with his family and friends, too.

Now, it is your turn. Write a portrait of your favourite singer. When you are writing the portrait of your favourite singer, make sure you include the following information: What is he/she like? What does he/she look like? What does he like doing? What music style does he/she sing? What is he doing in the picture?/What is he wearing? What is his/her most famous song? /What of his/her songs do you prefer? Why? As you can see, when you are describing someone you need to use adjectives.
