Splendid Isolation - When Britain didn't want or have any alliances with any countries and hardly got involved in European politics. the policy that Britain used throughout the 19th century. it relied on Britain having a strong navy to defend itself.
Moroccan Crisis's 1. Kaiser wanted to interfere with France's empire, wanting Morocco to become independent. Ended in conference, France backed by allies. 2. Kaiser sent a gunship to force the French to compensate in the form of French Congo in Central Africa. Backfired as backed up by allies.
Bosnian Crisis Austria - Hungry annexed Bosnia and Herzegovina. International Crisis.
Schlieffen PlanThe plan was introduced as Germany didn't want to fight a war on two fronts. -1914 Belgium invaded-Britain declares war-The plan was to go through Belgium and surround the French defending. Austria Hungry to defeat Serbia.
Other Factors: -Arms race, major competition between Germant and Britain. -Assassination in Sarajevo

How Hitler became chancellor?- Wall Street Crash (6 Million Germans Unemployed)-Growth in Nazi Support (Growth in extremist party supporters)- Failure of Weimar government (became very unpopular as they cut lots of vital benefits)Nazis gained more and more support. Hindenburg could not continue as chancellor and Von Papen decided Hitler to be chancellor.
