NORMAL PLANT CELL

animal cells in hypo solution shrink

animal cells in isotonic solution show no change 

animal cells in hyper solution burst

active transport is the movement of molecules across the cell membrane from a low to high concentration i.e. against the concentration gradient, energy is required.

the energy comes from the breakdown of ATP produced during respiration.

the evidence that shows the cell has produced a lot of ATP is that there is a lot of mitochondrias in the cell.the cell must of been from the green part of the plant because their is chloroplasts in the cell and the contain chlorophyll which contains green pigments which makes the green part of the plant

high water conc outside the cell and water moves in by osmosis causing the cell to become turgid water conc inside and outside are the same so there is no movement of water high water conc inside the cell so water moves out by osmosis causing the cell to become plasmolysed

when water conc is higher inside than outside the cell water moves outside and the cell shrinks

when the water conc is the same outside and inside there is no movement of water

when the water conc is higher outside than inside water moves in and the cell bursts releasing its contents
