Work out how much Thomas and Samuel receive:2+3 = 5 parts     (add up the parts)5 parts is £85,0001 part is £85,000/5 (divided)            = £17,000Thomas receives 3 x £17,000 = £51,000Samuel receives  2 x £17,000 = £34,000
