EXERCISE 6 (CLOZE PASSAGE)

SITUATION
Aisyah is planning to travel to Penang to visit her grandmother during the school break. She would like to invite Farehah and make arrangements so that they can go together. How will she plan and make arrangements?

Aisyah: Good morning Farah. I am planning to visit my grandmother in Penang this school break. I) you like to ii) me?

Farehah: Hi Aisya. Yes, I’d love to join.

Aisyah: iii) will you be available? Is there any specific date?

Farehah: I am going to be iv) on the 25th September. How will we travel to Penang?

Aisyah: Okay then, let’s v) up at 4pm. We’ll be going by bus.

Farehah: How vi) is the bus ticket? Can you get it for me?

Aisyah: I think it is around RM65. Okay I will pay for the ticket first. See you then.

EXERCISE 7 (CLOZE PASSAGE)

SITUATION
Josh plans to play badminton with his classmates on Friday. He then wants to invite Daniel to join the game. How will he plan and arrange the game?

Josh: Hi Daniel. Are you this Friday? I’m planning to play badminton with our classmates. Would you like to us?

Daniel: Hi Josh. Yes, I like to join the game.

Josh: What will be suitable for you?

Daniel: I will be free at 5pm.

Josh: Okay then, let’s meet up at 5pm at the school field.

Daniel: See you then.

EXERCISE 8 (CLOZE PASSAGE)

SITUATION
Josh now wants to invite Muaz to play badminton too with his classmates on Friday. How will he make the arrangement?

Josh: Hi Muaz. Are you available this Friday? I’m planning to play badminton with our classmates. Would you like to join us?

Muaz: Hi Josh. Yes, I would like to join in the match but I am not sure when I will be available.

Josh: Can you please with me later if you want to ?

Muaz: Yes, sure. I will you once I know when I will be available.

Josh: Okay, hope to hear from you soon.

Muaz: Thank you.
