Reversal of Neuromuscular Blockade

Sugammadex terminating nondepolarizing NMBAs block by:

• forming a 1:1 inclusion complex with ACh

• decreasing total concentration of free and bound molecules in the plasma

• antagonizing even profound block through encapsulation and excretion

• binding irreversibly to free molecules at the neuromuscular junction
