What is an element made from?
Two or more different types of atoms
One type of atom
Absolutely anything
Fire, Air, Water or Earth
What is the atomic number?
The amount of particles in the nucleus
How many other atoms the atom can bond with.
The number of protons in the nucleus
The total amount of particles in the entire atom
What is the structure of an atom?
A nucleus (made from protons and nuetrons) surrounded by electrons.
A single proton surrounded by neutrons and electrons
An electron surrounded by neutrons and protons
A solid ball with electrons surrounding it
What is a compound?
When one element joins with the same element
When two or more types of atom combine
When one type of atom hits the sun
All the letters except for the vowels
Why do protons have a positive charge?
To cancel out the negativity of the human world
Because they are optimists
Electrons have a negative charge, but the overall atom is neutral
Neutrons are negative, so the protons cancel out their charge.
What is an electron?
A type of particle that controls the atom completely.
A tiny, negatively charged particle that moves around the nucleus of an atom.
The thing at the center of the atom
A particle that moves the microwave so that it succeeds in heating up the oven all by itself
