INFERENCE - >
the molecules of KMnO4 diffuse uniformly in water. this movement takes place from corner to the parts where they are not present in water. it continues till they are uniformly distributed in water.

Osmosis experiment with potato osmoscope.
materials- potato, 30% sucrose solution, water, dye/stain, Petri dish, scalpel and pins

obs- level of sucrose sol rises, sucrose sol separated from water by the means of potato

inference- potato cells have freely permeable cell walls and semi permeable plasma membrane. water from pdish enters the cells due to cell to cell osmosis resulting in the rise of level of sucrose sol.
