Your patient with h/o sarcoidosis presents with increasing dyspnea, nonproductive cough, and increasing malaise and fatigue. She denies any recent fever, chills, rhinorrhea, or sore throat. On physical exam you notice she has an S3 heart sound as well as JVD, hepatomegaly, and LE edema. Lab results are consistent with her h/o sarcoidosis and you only notice that she has a slight decrease in her PaCO2.
