Franz Boas - used the term cultural relativism to describe how anthropologists must be careful not impose minority world culture and values on majority world populations
Margaret Mead - maintained culture differences were influenced by the environment and not biological in-built traits
Anthropologists use cultural relativism in their research to make sure they consider all aspects in the child’s environment including culture norms and local traditions to make sure they fully understand all influences
