People from other countries who were sick arrived on boats and passed on their germs
Silks were traded from other countries and they were infected with the plague
Black rats on board boats from other countries were carrying fleas which in turn were carrying bacteria. Fleas bit humans and passed on the infections.
Rats had the plague and brought it with them when they left the boats arriving in England
