Like heavy / dark / clouds which come really low, so it looks like its night time, even though its daytime.

In Quran there are warnings (thunder), threat of punishment (lighting) and commands (that seem like death to the hypocrites). Thus rain refers to quan in this ayah.

Clouds raining harshly, strong wind and thunder and lightning flashing.

.  ع. قص Thunder lighting or smoke that falls down from sky on to the earth in a storm.

ص.  ع. ص Thunder storm- smoke or fire that falls down from clouds on to the earth in a storm.

ص.  ع. ق Thunder bolt- lighting or fire that falls down from sky on to the earth in a storm.

In knowledge- Allah knows their sins, situations, lies, everything that is in their hearts

In blessings

In power- Allah has complete grasp over them.

Allah is warning them that if they do not stop their evil acts of hypocrisy (lying, cheating etc.) – Allah may misguide them.

When things are easy, they do what Muslims should do. but when things get difficult, they stop doing it.

This means that no-one can guide them or help them, and these people cannot ask others to guide them either.

Because they try to fool; Allah, those who believe, but they don’t fool anyone but themselves.

Because of the power of Islam. As Muslims were being successful, so out of fear they accepted Islam.

Because Allah is warning the Hypocrites of a Pain which is Constant and does not End.

Emaan is a treasure so we have to value it, prove it, live it, as it is a key to Jannah.

We should use our hearing and vision in the way of Allah, because if we don't use our faculties, Allah can take them away.

Rain causes Earth to come to life, similarly life of our hearts comes from the Quran. So we should hold onto Quran in every situation.

Difficult times are the opportunities to excel in the way of Allah.

خ خ ل - There are many ways of Negating something.

خ ل ق - To bring something into existence / create.

خ ل ل - The ignorant and foolish.

To become righteous

To become successful

To become ungrateful

The one who has taqwa, Allah's help is always with him
