Slide 1

Rubrica: : Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells
This soundtrack/ instrumental audio by Mike Oldfield gave us, Lunar Productions, the inspiration within our audio research. Alongside many other noticed, congruent aspects; this track involves fluctuating pitches and differentiating instruments that adds to the list of binary opposites. Also with it being part of the famous 'Exorcist' film it co-exist with the typical horror movie, and clearly helps with our research to create our own movie/ trailer audio. Some parts show an aspect of lightness, whereas some parts show a weariness and creepiness that we focus on mainly. We as Lunar Productions would like to mirror the fluctuating pitches and climaxes in the track to help create the same success this did.

Slide 2

    Rubrica: : Varied Creepy Audio
    Audio Research - Halloween Music
Within this evidence of creepy 'Halloween' music there is a clear sense of variation and choice we can explore. The length of the evidence allows us to analyse different horror music styles that depict different things. It is noticed that some tunes/ audio entails a, sort of, white noise or echo in the background that helps create a sense of 'something is lurking'. Making the proposed audience sit on the edge of their seat! Alongside this a lot of piano instrumental is used, co-existing with a implied violin. The clear 'bold' notes used and collective notes used simply work together to form a slow intense beat (of unpredictability).
