Resumo de Recurso

Slide 1

    24. People reconstruct memories each time they remember them.

Slide 2

Memories are not store like a movie clip, replaying the same way every time you remember it. each time you remember something, your nerve pathways fire anew each time which can create changes each time you remember somethin

Slide 3

New events in your life can affect old memories. For example, if you and your mom got in a fight, some past memories of her can turn negative.

Slide 4

Your mind can fill in memory gaps with what you think would be the memory. For example if you remember and a dinner at your uncles house, you may think your aunt attended the dinner because she is usually there, but she wasn't.

Slide 5

Eye witness testimonies are unreliable because memories can change. Also, just using certain wording can make your memory change, or affect your memory.
