Crusader Quest

Description

Take a look at chapter 17 The Crusades (1095 - 1291) in your booklet. When the economy was prospering in Western Europe, new horizons were sought. It would start with attacks on the Muslim lands in the Middle East, known as the Crusades. It was a clash between the Christian west and the Muslim east. What were the Crusades? What caused it? What were the consequences? Is there a difference between the Western and Muslim version of the story?
