Laws are a system or rules that are enforced from the government.Laws helps to regulate,show respect and equality throughout communities.
Criminal and civil laws are very similar, the similarity they share is that they both are used to deter or punish.They can however be distinguished as they have differences.
Criminal law deals with behavior that is or can be assumed as an offense against the public, society, or the state—even if the immediate victim is an individual.
Civil law deals with behavior that becomes a part of an injury to an individual or other private party, such as a company, group, organisations.
Examples of CRIMINAL laws:
-Murder
-Assault
-Theft
-Drunk Driving
Examples of CIVIL laws:
-defamation (damaging someones reputation)
-Breach of contract (breaking contract rules)
-Property Damage
-Negligence (failure to take care of something)
The aboriginal law or the customary law relates to the systems and practices among Aboriginal Australians which applies to different language groups and clans which have different concepts of customary law, and what applies within one group or region of aboriginals.

Islamic Laws
The Islamic law also known as Shariah which means "the way" got its principles from the hadiths of the Quran. These principles are interpreted by jurists to come up with legal rules.These legal rules is referred as the islamic law and is called "fiqh"
