Preparing to learn online... has its advantages. It makes travel easier, and you can learn the way you need. Its a lot of work though. You need to be able to focus, and be disciplined. Penn foster belives in the way of "Independant Studying". This means that you will have to learn how your head works, and know how to take notes in different ways. Are you a Visual Learner, a Auditory Learner, or a Kinesthetic Learner?
