    What is Civics & What is Citizenship
    Civics is the study of the duties and rights of citizens.
    Citizens are members of a community who owe loyalty to a government and in return are given privileges and protected by that government. The 14th Amendment describes a citizen in the U.S.

    Who are citizens in the United States ?
    - Natural - Born Citizens or (Law of Soul) Any person born in the    U.S or one of its territories (Puerto Rico) or a person born in another state with one or two parents who are U.S. citizens.     - Naturalized Citizens or (Law of Blood) people who go through the process to obtain citizenship.    
     Naturalized Citizens   18 or older Resident of 5 years Read, write and speak English Show good moral character  Understand U.S. Civics Citizenship exam  Take an oath
