The Brain loves to Create Patterns
Even if there is no pattern there, brains will create one. In fact, it categorizes basic shapes, called geons or geometric icons, to identify objects. As designers, we can take advantage of this by making simple, geometric drawings of objects so that they can be recognized faster. We can also use grouping and white space to create patterns.
