Contributions to Homeostasis- Process the food we eat for energy and materials to grow. Mechanical Digestion-is when you physically change the form of the food. Examples- chewing, mixing Chemical Digestion- is to break it down, changing what it is. You get the nutrients and the sugar from it.

Circulatory System
Job- the circulatory system transports nutrients and oxygen through our body. Systemic Circulation- Circulation to the other systems to your body, other than lungs.Pulmonary Circulation- Circulation between the heart and the lungs.Capillaries- small, narrow, thin blood vessels where exchange takes place.

Arteries vs Veins
Carry blood away from the heart Has Oxygen rich blood  No Valves
Veins carry blood to the heart Have Oxygen poor blood  have valves that direct the blood flow

Contribution to Homeostasis- to maintain a balance of gases through gas exchange.
