Contributions to Homeostasis- Process the food we eat for energy and materials to grow. Mechanical Digestion-is when you physically change the form of the food. Examples- chewing, mixing
Chemical Digestion- is to break it down, changing what it is. You get the nutrients and the sugar from it.

Slide 3
Arteries vs Veins
Carry blood away from the heart
Has Oxygen rich blood
No Valves
Veins carry blood to the heart
Have Oxygen poor blood
have valves that direct the blood flow
Slide 4
Respiratory System
Contribution to Homeostasis- to maintain a balance of gases through gas exchange.
