• There are 3 sides in a triangle

• These are called the ratios of the sides of a triangle rectangle

• Hypotenuse: the longest side

• Perpendicular: to the base

• Base: side on which right angle triangle stands

• The trigonometric ratios are

• Depending on the angle we are choosing, it´s going to be adjacent or opposite

• Sine: opposite / hypotenuse

• Cosine: adjacent / hypotenuse

• Tangent: opposite / adjacent

• Cosecant: hypotenuse / opposite

• Secant: hypotenuse / adjacent

• Cotangent: adjacent / opposite
