What and Where is Asia?
- There are three oceans in Asia:
- The Arctic Ocean (towards the north)
- The Pacific Ocean (towards the east)
- The Indian Ocean (towards the south)
- The Arctic Ocean (towards the north)
- Asia has 49 countries.
- Three of Asia's countries share borders with other continents - Papua New Guinea with Oceania and Russia and Turkey with Europe.
- Even though most of Russia is in Asia, there are more people living in the European side. The European side is more weather-friendly.
- The island that Asia and Oceania share is called Papua New Guinea- the Oceanian part is truly Papua and the Asian half is part of Indonesia.
