What do successful people do differently?
- They don't necessarily study MORE, they study SMART

- Divide studying process into
smaller parts
- They focus on understanding the material, not just
remembering pure facts: they make connections and learn
how to apply concepts
- In most cases, they have a strong motivation
that drives them and pushes them to prosper
- They have internal motivation,
rather than external one
- It has been proven that those who are focused on the pride of success have
a higher success rate, whereas those who are more focused on the
embarassment of losing tend to achieve less
- They know how to focus at crucial
times and how to use their time correctly
- Instead of plain reading, writing and
rewriting their notes, they will focus on
doing past papers
- They stick to their study schedules
- When making them, they enter their
non-school/non-studying activities
- They go beyond their working/school
environment
- They learn because they want to
KNOW: out of enjoyment and will
read and learn beyond the school
syllabus
- They are risk-takers, but are always on
the "safe side"
- No successful businessman had made a 'leap of faith' into a
business idea and left nothing if the project failed. Successful
businessmen will take risky moves, but they are aware of the risk,
and are prepared for the possible negative consequences
- They are resilient
- They will not give up after one idea fails. They will stand up,
brush the dust from their shoulders and walk away into a
new project
