Research Methodology
  1. Type of research
    1. By taking into account the various aspects that intervene in the conduct of this research, it is classified as an exploratory study. Exploratory because the chosen theme has been little explored and recognized, and when even more, about it, it is difficult to formulate precise hypotheses or of a certain generality, since nowadays in Colombia the medium companies do not invest capital for the digital transformation and for so increase productive efficiency and thus be more competitive business
    2. Phases of the methodology
      1. INFORMATION SOURCES
        1. SECONDARY: Articles, Internet pages; Libraries, related to digital transformation in medium-sized companies Colombia.
          1. PRIMARIES: Observation; Interview managers of the companies. The information given by the managers of each of the companies was obtained through their direct participation in the development of the survey,
          2. POPULATION AND SAMPLE
            1. The exposed Companies of each of the collaborative work colleagues are taken, considering as requirement that these companies have a legal entity with an existing registry in a Chamber of Commerce in Colombia, bearing in mind the law 905 of 2004 for medium-sized companies.
            2. INSTRUMENTS
              1. The survey was used as an instrument. This survey had 25 questions, which were divided into three important factors to identify the company in its technology sector, the first factor was recognition of the company, the second factor was to determine how has been its digital transformation and finally to identify its degree of digitization.
