Danger
1. dangerous for people over 60 years old or patients with preexisting condition or wekened immune systems.
2. much more contagious and spread with much more facility that the flu
3. fatality rate: 2,3%
Symptoms
1. most common: -fever -dry cough -fatigue

    1. Critical cases: respiratory failure, septic shock and/or multiple organ dysfunction or failure
    2. severe cases: :shortness of breath
    3. mild cases: the majoritary of the cases, without pneumonia or mild pneumonia

Consequenses
1. will infect too many people and will overload the healthcare system, if people don't deal correctly with it

How to fight it?
1. quarantines

    1. NO: hand shake, hugging, kissing
  2. stay home
    1. no school no work
2. basic notions of hygiene: washing hands, using hand sanitizer, taking bath every day
3. It is important testing people because allows infected people to know that they are infected and to not infect other people
4. FLATTENING THE CURVE
  1. lower the rate of infection so that the epidemic is spread out over time such that the peak demand on the healthcare system is lower
