- Pedagogy is the “art, science, or profession of teaching.”
- This broad definition covers various aspects of
teaching, and there are many moving parts to
pedagogy that include teaching styles,
feedback, and assessment.
- Generally, each teacher has
their pedagogical approach to
teaching and learning in their
classroom
- Pedagogy is an art
because it includes
emotions, abilities,
and practice.
- EMOTIONS
- MEANING :Is a natural
instinctive state of mind
deriving from one's
circumstances, mood, or
relationships with others.
- in pedagogy emotions are
very important because
this influences our
behavior, and also in the
way of doing things in this
case teaching, therefore if
a person feels safe and
loves what he does, these
emotions will be
transmitted to students
and they will feel
attracted to learn,
acquiring knowledge in a
better way.
- EXAMPLE: When a
teacher does not love
what he does, he cannot
teach the classes
correctly, because it is not
something that makes
him feel good, causing his
classes to be with little
information and also that
the student does not
acquire adequate
knowledge.
- ABILITY

discover our abilities, how we
can take advantage of them and
improve them. It makes
students love what we are
learning and look for more ways
to know what I am good or bad
without feeling inferior, and in
this way discover my skills and
improve them.
- EXAMPLE: My friend
is very good at
writing, but I am a
good student in
mathematics, a
correct pedagogy of a
teacher, would guide
us and enhance our
skills.
- PRACTICE:
- MEANING: the actual
application or use of an
idea, belief, or

- Pedagogy is an art
because all art requires
time, perseverance, and
practice. practice allows
us to improve and learn
in each attempt, that is,
through the correct
education we can
improve our skills and
acquire more
knowledge.
- EXAMPLE: If you
practice listening every
day you will improve
your vocabulary, you
will be more fluent
when speaking and you
will have a better
pronunciation, correct
education allows these
practices not to be
tiresome.

and learning and it also helps to
carry out activities in a structured
way with a timetable that organises
time.
