                1. ROM: Once data has been written onto a ROM chip, it cannot be removed and can only be read. Unlike main memory (RAM), ROM retains its contents even when the computer is turned off.
                  1. RAM: is a hardware device that allows information to be stored and retrieved on a computer but requires power to keep the data accessible; if power is lost all data contained in memory lost.
                  2. There differences
                    1. RAM= Loses its memory if computer is turned of.
                      1. ROM= doesn't lose its memory even if computer is turned
                        1. Ram= Ram can do more things when more MB and GB are put in the computer
