- Women's Lacrosse can be a complicated but exciting game. In Collegiate Women's Lacrosse, there are several rules that should be followed to maintain the safety and integrity of the sport.

Positions
- Offense
Anmerkungen:
- Offense is responsible for scoring goals. They are also called "Attackers" and can not cross the opposite 30 yard restraining line into the defensive end.
- Midfield
Anmerkungen:
- Midfield is responsible for playing both offense and defense. They go in the middle of the field for the opening draw and midfielders can go anywhere on the field during the game.
- Defense
Anmerkungen:
- Defense is responsible for stopping goals from being scored. They are called "Defenders" and can not cross the opposite 30 yard restraining into the offensive end.
- Goalie
Anmerkungen:
- The goalie is responsible for stopping the shooters from scoring.
- Safety
Anmerkungen:
- Women's lacrosse players wear minimal equipment. The rules of the game are necessary to keep players safe.
- Cardinal Rules

- 1. The ball should only be touched by the stick, not the hands.
2. Offensive and Defensive players are restricted from certain parts of the field.
3. Twelve players are allowed on the field at a time, including the goalie.

- The objective of the game is to get the ball in the other team's goal by using the sticks.
- The Field
Anmerkungen:
- A Women's Lacrosse field consists of a center circle, two restraining lines, two goalie creases, and 8 meter and 12 meter fans in front of each goal.
