      • Brain's characteristic capacity to redesign and rebuild itself to make up for a hidden mind injury and to open new useful potential

          2. -Encourages being social - decrease anxiety

                • -These 3 types of genetics lead to aggression and violent behaviour, almost ALL gamers do not have these genetics 
                1. -The MAOA (2R) gene has been linked in many violent crime

                  • - Enzyme monoamine oxidase A, which is important for controlling the amount of dopamine and serotonin in the brain   
                  1. -Two other Dopamine genes were linked to bad behaviour
                    1. -Negative factors can shape genetics

                      • -Gamers have a "low" chance to have an aggression in real life due to shaping and environmental issues

                      • -These can cause violent behaviour, but with gaming, it gives entertainment and healing

                                      • Catharsis:  Purification of emotions or relieving of emotional tensions

                                              1. -Relieve stress
                                                1. -Learning about history or new information
                                                2. Studies/News

                                                  • Logic: If violent video games skyrocketed through sales, the crime rate would also go up, but instead the crime rate is decreased
                                                  1. -Crime rate has been decreased to almost 40% (2014)
                                                    1. -Violent video game sales have been rising and booming
                                                      1. -More violent games are being made
