- "Lonelines" is what God describes as "not good".

Jacob/Israel
- Jacob is the grandson
of Abraham, younger
brother of Esau, and
son of Isaac and
Rebekah.
- Isaac loved Esau,
and Rebekah
loved Jacob
- Esau came out covered in red hair
and his heel was grasped by
Jacob's hand.
- Esau was a cunning
hunter, while Jacob
was a simple man,
dwelling in tents
- Jacob robs Esau of his
birthright for a bowl of
stew when Esau comes
home one day suffering
- Jacob goes away from
Esau because he took the
blessing that belonged to
Esau. Esau gets angry and
plots to kill him.
- Jacob had 12 sons. One of them
being the biblical famous Joseph.
- 6. Joseph
- Joseph is the youngest of
the 12 sons of Jacob. He
lived in Canaan with his
brothers, where Isaac
used to live.
- Jacob spent more time was
Joseph for being the youngest.
He gives Joseph the known coat
of many colors as a special gift
just for him.
- Joseph's brothers eventually
get jealous of Jacob because
they think he's their father's
favorite.
- They through Joseph into a dry
well and decide to sell him to
slavery in Egypt. They tell Jacob and
Rachel that he was killed by an
animal.
- Joseph becomes prime
minister of Egypt and
rescues his family from
crisis during years of
famine.
- Because of Joseph's position,
Jacob and his entire family
relocate to Egypt.
- 7. Moses & The
Exodus
- Moses was an Israelite born into
Egyptian bondage, but was
raised in Pharoah's household.
- When he was 40 years old, he was
forced to leave Egypt and took refuge
in the land of Midian.
- After 40 years of living as a
shepherd, the Lord calls him
from a burning bush to go back
to Egypt in order to deliver the
Israelites from bondage.
- Moses tries to get Pharaoh through a
series of plagues culminating in the
death of the first born (Pharaoh) to
free the Israelites from their bondage.

- After the 10 plagues, Pharaoh finally
makes up his mind and decides to let
them go. Moses tries to get them out of
their quickly because Pharaoh might
change his mind.
- Pharaoh then changes his mind and has the
Egyptian army, including himself, go after Moses
and the Israelites.
- The Egyptian army pursues the Israelites and
is defeated at the Red Sea, where God opened
the water for the Israelites to get through, and
made it collapse when the Egyptians came
through, drowning them.
- 8. King Saul
- God tells Samuel (last judge)
to anoint Soil as the king of
the 12 tribes.
- Saul was a humble guy and was a good king in
Gods view, and to the people.
- As Saul is king, he starts to become less and less obedient
towards God, so he ends up being rejected by him.
- Saul struggled with mental infirmities, and because of
his disobedience with God, he was dethroned as king
and replaced with David.
- Saul becomes jealous of David because of
his fame in Israel by killing Goliath. He
plots to kill him.
- Saul throws a javelin twice at David
attempting to kill him. David dodges them
and is confused to why he's trying to kill him.
- Saul later dies in a battle against the Philistines.
- 3. Noah and the
Flood
- God destroys the world by a flood, sparing Noah and his family of 8
people.
- (Serves as a recreation of the world.)
- God tells Noah to build an ark made out of gopher wood.
- Told to enter the ark with his wife and three sons
- Told to bring 2 of every kind of animal. Male and Female. Seven pairs of clean
animals.
- Rains for 40 days and 40
nights
- Water stated on the earth for 150
days.
- God makes first covenant with man that he will never flood the earth
again.
- The sign of the covenant is a rainbow.
- Shem, Ham and Japheth were Noah's 3 sons
- Flood represents Baptism
