- About 1300B.C.E, a large group of Abraham's descendants were living in Egypt. God told Moses “I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”. Moses when to the Pharaoh, but the Pharaoh didn't accept, so the God sent down ten plagues to punish Egypt. The Pharaoh finally accepted Moses's request, but he changed his mind soon. He sent his army to chase the Israelites. So Moses moved his cane, he separated the Red Sea, to led the Jews go pass the Red Sea, and the Egyptian army soon got drowned.

- According to the Torah. Abraham was a citizen of Ur. One day, he heard the sound of god, "Leave your own country and your father's house, and go to a country that I will show you.". So Abraham began his journey. He travelled from Ur to Canaan. By that time, he was 75 years old.
- To prove test the faith of Abraham, he order Abraham to sacrifise his son Isaac, when he was about to kill Isaac, the God sent an angel to stop him, and the God made a new promise with Abraham.

- In 1000 B.C.E, the Israelites were in a war with a rival people, the Philistines, the Philistines promised if the Israelites can beat Goliath the Giant, the Philistine will became the Israelite's slave. As an Israelite, David stepped forward. According to the Hebrew bible David was not a grown man yet. David only had a sling, but he beat Goliath with his one and only shot.

- When he was 30, John the Baptist recognized Jesus as the Messiah, so Jesus began a journey of spreading Christianity. During Jesus’s journey, he taught his disciples lessons through parables. Most of the parables were written or recorded in the four Gospels in the bible (the New Testament): Matthew, Luke, Mark, and John. Eventually, Christianity became a threat of the Roman Empire because of the Christian don’t believe that the Emperor was a god. During his 3rd year of his journey, one of his disciples Judas, betrayed him while Jesus was praying after dinner, Judas told the Romans the location of Jesus. After Jesus was “arrested”, the Romans decided that Jesus had to be crucified, which is being nailed on a cross until death. The dinner before Jesus was crucified is now known as “The Last Supper”. After 3 days of Jesus’s death, he was found alive again in the garden in front of the cave his dead body was put in, people called this the Resurrection.

- The first missionary: Paul, before he converts Christianity, he was a official which helped persecute Christian, one day when he was traveling, he saw a blinding light and heard the voice of Jesus. He converted to Christianity. As a Roman Citizen who spoke Greek, he had a mission to convert the Gentiles (non-Jews) into Christianity, which made him the first missionary of Christianity.

- In 313 C.E, the Roman Emperor Constantine had a dream before his battle, it was about Jesus, so on the next day, all the soldiers had the word “Jesus” on their shield. Eventually, the Roman won the battle. Constantine announced the Edict of Milan, which made Christianity legal. By 380 C.E, Christianity became the official religion of Rome.
