A to A sharp, B to B flat, E flat back to E - Natural)Alberti Bass = Broken chords played by the left hand, outlining harmonies whilst the right hand plays the melody. This is likely to happen after a pizzicato passage. Aria = A solo song sung in an operatic style, in an opera, oratorio or cantata, with orchestral accompaniment. Atonal = Atonal music has no feeling of key, major or minor. It is very dissonant and lacks a "nice" melody and accompaniment. Atonal music is the future of some 20th century music. Baritone = A voice which lies between the bass and tenor. Bassoon (AKA. The tree trunk) = This instrument belongs to the woodwind family. It uses a double reed, which is placed between the lips and air travels between the two reeds, along a metal crook and into the instrument.
