Regular Formation Take the stem and add the appropriate endings. Note that -er and -ir verbs have the same endings.

Useful Imperfect Structures There are 2 main useful structures that use the imperfect Mientras + IMPERFECT + Preterite = While ..........was -ing, something happened. e.g. While I was playing, we won = Mientras jugaba, ganamos. Imperfect + Cuando + Preterite = Something was -ing, when sometjing happened. e.g. I was playing, when we won = Jugaba, cuando ganamos.
