CAMPFIRE Zimbabwe:Communal Areas Management Programme for Indigenous Resources was a scheme aimed at the long term development, management and sustainable use of natural resources in each communal area. This was achieved by placing responsibility with local people and allowing communities to benefit directly from exploitation of the available resources e.g. wildlife.
