Frage 4

Frage

Antworten
  • Some powerful groups may attempt to circumvent news values and use their influence to either plant or shape their news stories sympathetic to their cause. An example can include 1884 political reporters based at Parliament have been fed news by government ministers on the understanding that they do not identify the specific source of this information. the last three governments have also appointed an unprecedented number of press officers, whose role is to meet with journalists in order to 'manage' news stories so they are favourable to the government. As a consequence, the existence of both lobby journalists and spin doctors challenges the idea that all news stories are the product of news values. Some news stories are clearly constructed to favour particular political points of view.
  • Journalists should change their name to ...... because they just interpret stories given to them by ........ and pass them off as fact to generate headlines and comply to the government in power. This tends to happen quite often in recent years because of 24 hour news there needs to be a constant supply of news stories.
