NEUROSCIENCE Is the study of the human nervous system, how the nervous systems works, how it is structured and how it develops
Learning Channels We have lots of learning channels and you can use them all. Some may learn better visually but that doesn't mean you can't learn through the kinesthetic channel.
OBJECTIVES There are three objectives Neurolearning must pursue: 1) Understand the human brain and how it functions. 2) Describes how the Central Nervous System (CNS) develops, matures and maintain itself. 3) Analyze and understands neurological and psychiatric disorders to discover how to cure or prevent them.
Behavioral Neuroscience-attempts to understand how the brain affects behavior. Focuses on biological bases of behavior.
Cellular Neuroscience – focuses on the study of the form and physiological properties of neurons that make up the brain and nervous system.
Affective Neuroscience – employs animal research and experimentation to analyze how neurons behave in relation to human emotions.
Cognitive Neuroscience – is the study and analysis of cognitive function within humans. This branch of neuroscience draws from psychology, cognitive science, linguistics, and neuroscience. These include behavioral/experimental or computational/modeling.
Neurolinguistics – attempts to better understand the neural mechanisms that influence the acquistion, comprehension and speaking of language.
Neuroplasticity- also known as brain plasticity and neural plasticity, is the ability of the brain to change throughout an individual's life
Growth mindset-"Believe your brain can grow" we can increase our neural growth by the actions we take, such as using good strategies, asking questions, practicing, and following good nutrition and sleep habits.
The neuroeducation or neurodidactic is a new vision of teaching that is based on providing educational strategies and technologies focused on the functioning of the brain.
Neurolinguistics is the study of how language is represented in the brain: that is, how and where our brains store our knowledge of the languages (or languages) that we speak, understand, read, and write, what happens in our brains as we acquire that knowledge, and what happens as we use it in our everyday live.
Brain based learning-how students learn differently as they age, grow, and mature socially, emotionally and cognitively.
To achieve a better learnign you should avoid MULTI-TASKING. This way your brain can hold on to more information and store it correctly.
