What is a greenhouse gas?
A gas that traps heat from Earth’s surface and holds it in the atmosphere
A gas found in a greenhouse
A green gas that causes climate change
A gas that helps plants to grow
Climate change has no effect on plants and animals.
How would a desert food chain be affected by even hotter temperatures due to climate change?
The top of the food chain would stop eating, and it would die out.
The bottom of the food chain (Cactus) would no longer have enough water stored up to survive. Therefore, the rest of the food chain could not get its nutrients.
The hotter temperatures would cause there to be more sunlight which would blind the animals and prevent them from hunting.
The cactus would have too much water stored up that it would harm itself.
Earth has warmed as fast in the last 50 years as in the 50 years before that.
