What is tissue? Tissue is groups of similar cells that all perform the same function in the body.
What are the types of tissue in the body? The types of tissue is epithelial tissue, connective tissue, muscle tissue, nerve tissue.
What is nerve tissue? Nerve tissue they send electrical signals around the body.
What is muscle tissue? Muscle tissue is a specialised tissue that can contract either becoming fatter or shorter.
What are your biceps and triceps? Biceps and triceps work together, biceps they contact to lift your arm up, triceps contact to pull your arm down.
What is connective tissue? Connective tissue is the tissue which supports and holds together other tissues the body.
What is epithelial tissue? Epithelial tissue is made up of cells which form surfaces over other organs.
What is an organ? An organ is a structure in the body that contain at least two types of tissue working together to compete a task.
What is an organ system? An organ system is organs arranged into organ systems, organ systems have two or more different organs working together.
What are the levels of organisation in the body? They are, tissues, organs, organ systems.
What is the largest organ in your body? The skin.
How many important body systems? Eleven
Name a few important body systems. 1. Nervous system, 2. skeletal system, 3. reproductive system, 4. respiratory system, 5. excretory system, and 6. digestive system
What does the nervous system do? The nervous system send messages from the brain to other parts of the body.
What does the reproductive system do? They reproductive system make babies.
What does the excretory system do? This system removes the wastes of the body.
What are the two types of cells in vascular tissue? 1. Xylem and 2. Phloem
What is xylem? Xylem is the cell that carries water to the roots of plant. They are long thin tubes.
What is phloem? Phloem carries glucose from the leaves in the plant to the other parts of the plant.
What are the main organs in a plant? The main are stems, roots, leaves.
