F.O.R: Poisoning the Well	- attacking credibility before hand e.g "You have been wrong before, why should I listen to you now? - creating a confirmation bias for the audience
F.O.R: Mob Appeal	- emotional terminology used to sway e.g "We must unite! Cast off the chains of oppression" -appeals to emotion not reason
F.O.R: Appeal to Pity	"Please don't call my mom, she'll kill me if she finds out!" -emotion not reason
F.O.R: Appeal to Fear	-tries to persuade through fear rather than reason
F.O.R: Appeal to Authority	"Wayne Gretzky uses Asprin for his arthritis" - cites authority: 1. The One 2.The Many 3. Tradition but offers no evidence
F.O.R: Appeal to Ignorance	-emphasizes lack of evidence for a thesis to shut it down e.g "if there was a lochness monster we would have found it
