Question | Answer |
COPYRIGHT | When making our production we won’t be able to use the same name that someone else has used, the same production company name and logo. In addition if a film with the same plot as us is in the making we may not be able to do our idea because they may have put a patent of the application of the idea. |
EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES | To avoid any criticism we should try and get a mix of male and female actors and of different ethnic origin |
ETHICAL ISSUES | We should take into account what is right and wrong. For example we shouldn’t exploit any people who agree to work with us, which means we shouldn’t over work them or make them do something that they don’t feel comfortable with. We will also need to be careful of using any offensive materials as this could lead to people getting angry with us and maybe even taking legal action. |
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTIES | To avoid this we will need to make sure that if this sort of story has been done before then we will not be able to use the idea and as a result will need to change the story as to avoid any infringements. |
FILM RATING | We need to make sure that our movie trailer is appropriate for the specific audience which will be a 15 for our film. It will be this and not at 12A because the movie will exhibit themes of violence and maybe gore as followed by the BBFC website which says what elements are needed for it to be classed as a 15. Therefore it would be unsuitable for a 12 year old as they may attempt to copy the actions shown in this movie. |
