I decided during this tough time to do a production of Annie Jr. It's a production that Irwin Meyer, Stephen R. Friedman and Lewis Allen started up. | They started it after they heard Julie Andrews say in a interview that acting is for people who can afford to pay to go acting school or have to be naturally good at acting. These producers didn't like that so they came up with Annie Jr. |
The experience was brilliant ( well part of it) The women was very strict and quite bossy to the younger ones but that's musical theatre life for you, | I went through a time in august where I wasn't really happy, I don't know exactly why but I wasn't. I remembered when I came across the song "I believe" from the book of Mormon. it is a religious song but I loved the fact that you can believe in anything even if it isn't realistic. |
That's the magical thing about Musical Theatre, it (to me) means more then a meaniful song from Beyoncé as you can relate to it more as it might be a true story. | Hearing the applause at the end of a performance, is the best thing anyone that is a performer can here as they think " I did it " when maybe a couple of months ago they were thinking I would never be able to do that in a million years. that's the most beautiful thing about musical theatre. |
