Seratonin: Controls mood, hunger, and sleep (Lack of it leads to depression)
Acetylcholine: Enables muscle action, learning, and memory
Dopamine: Influences movement, learning, attention, and emotion.
Neurotransmitters, also known as "Chemical Messengers", are chemicals that enable neurotransmission.
Types: 1) Excitatory : initiates an action potential-- 2)Inhibitory: Doesn't initiate an action potential.
GABA: an inhibitory neurotransmitter.
