    1. Where party is seeking to have a judgment issued by another state or country recognised in NY
      1. a) Sister state judgment
        1. 1) Entitled to Full Faith and Credit?
          1. i) Jurisdiction must have been proper in the rendering state court
            1. Only one chance to attack jurisdiction
            2. ii) Judgment must be on the merits
              1. Default judgments are made on the merits
              2. iii) Judgment must be final
                1. Future payments for "Modifiable Judgement" not final
