      1. On the evening of that same day, Jesus said to his disciples

                1. Apostles returned to Jesus and spoke of what they taught

                    1. Let us go off by ourselves to some place where we will be alone and you can rest for a while
                      1. They went off in a boat
                        1. Many people saw them and knew who they were so they followed
                          1. Jesus got out of the boat and saw the crowds and he felt pity for them
                            1. Sheep without a shepherd
                              1. Taught them
                                1. Disciples:It is already very late, and this is a lonely place. Send the people away, and let them go to the nearby farms and villages in order to buy something to eat.
                                  1. Jesus: You yourself get them something to eat
                                    1. Disciples: Do you want us to go and spend 200 silver coins in order to feed them.
                                      1. Jesus: How much bread have you got?
                                        1. Five loaves and also two fish
                                          1. Sit down on the green grass
                                            1. Groups of 50s and 100s
                                              1. Took the loaves, looked up to heaven and gave thanks to God
                                                1. Distributed it to the people. Everyone ate and had enough.
                                                  1. 12 baskets left of fish and bread.
                                                    1. 5000 ate
                2. Paralysed man
                  1. Jesus went back to Capernaum
                    1. News spread that he was home
                      1. Jesus was preaching to many, where 4 men arrived
                        1. They were carrying a paralysed man to Jesus but there were too many people
                          1. They made a hole in the roof above Jesus and placed the man laying down on a mat
                            1. Jesus saw how much faith they had, and said "My son, your sins are forgiven"
                              1. Teachers of the Law: How does he dare to talk like this? This is blasphemy! God is the only one who can forgive sins!
                                1. Jesus: Why do you say such things? Is it easier to say 'Your sins are forgiven' or 'get up, pick up your mat, and walk'? I will prove to you then, that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.
                                  1. Jesus to the paralysed man: I tell you, get up, pick up your mat, and go home!
                                    1. All were amazed and said and praised God: We have never seen anything like this!
