  1. 1.Enjoy a wide variety of nutritous foods.
    1. 2. Eat plenty of bread,cereals (preferably wholegrain), vegetables (including legumes) and fruits
      1. 3. Eat a diet low in fat and in particular low in saturated fats
        1. 4. Maintain a healthy body weight by balanced physical activity and food intake
          1. 5. If you drink alcohol, limit your intake
            1. 6. Eat only a moderate amount of sugars and foods containing added sugars
              1. 7. Choose low-salt foods and use salt sparingly
                1. 8. Encourage and support breast feeding
                  1. 9. Eat food containing calcium. this is particularly important for girls and women
                    1. 10. Eat foods containing Iron, this is paticularly important for girls, women, vegetarians and athletes
