Actually created an eye for an eye

Can be credited with decline of Sumerians
Amorites (nomads) moved in
Religion
So! Many! Gods!
God of the hills!
God of the water!
God of the wind!
God of the sky!
Each city state had their own god
The kings and priests had to keep them happy
Otherwise there would be droughts and famine
Geography
Can't really farm except for near the river
Lots of sheep and goats
Tigris and Euphrates Rivers flow here
